The settings are Disabled, 1st IDE-HDD, 2nd IDE-HDD, 3rd IDE-HDD, 4th IDE-HDD, Floppy, ARMD-FDD, ARMD-HDD, ATAPI CDROM. Try Other Boot Devices Set this option to Yes to instruct AMIBIOS to attempt to boot from any other drive in the system if it cannot find a boot drive among the drives specified in the 1st Boot Device, 2nd Boot Device, and 3rd Boot Device options. Floppy Access Control This option specifies the read-write access that is set when booting from a floppy drive. The settings are Read-Write or Read-Only. Hard Disk Access Control This option specifies the read-write access that is set when booting from a hard disk drive. The settings are Read-Write or Read-Only. for Hard Disks Set this option to Enabled to permit AMIBIOS to use the SMART (System http://www. tyan. com 42 Management and Reporting Technologies) protocol for reporting server system information over a network. Enabling this feature allows you to back up your data when your hard disk is about to fail. Boot Up Num-Lock Set this option to Off to turn the Num Lock key off when the computer is booted so you can use the arrow keys on both the numeric keypad and the keyboard.
