If any of these items are missing or damaged, contact the Uniden Parts Department. · Base Unit · Handset(s) · AC Adapter(s) · Wall Mount Adapter · Rechargeable Battery Pack(s) · Telephone Cord · Belt Clip(s) · Owner's Manual · Other Printed Materials Step 2 Install and Charge the Handset Battery TO INSTALL THE HANDSET BATTERY (see page 12 for details) Charge the handset battery pack for at least 15-20 hours before using your new cordless telephone for the first time!Use only the Uniden rechargeable battery pack supplied with your new phone. [. . . ] If you recall the phonebook during a call, S t or e [ S EL EC T ] will not appear. 2) Press ring/vol/ or ring/vol/, or the number keypad to scroll through the phonebook locations. Phonebook locations appear in alphabetical order (from first to last when you press ring/vol/, from last to first when you ring/vol/). You can also use letters on the number keys to select the first letter of the desired name. Press a number key (2-9 and 0) once for the first letter, press twice for the second letter, and so on. The first location that begins with the letter you entered appears. For example, to search for "Movies", press 6 once. Press ring/vol/ or ring/vol/, until the phonebook location is displayed. 3) To finish viewing numbers, press end (or phonebook during a call). note During a call, don't press end or the call will be disconnected.
