Full-Screen Review In Playback mode, images are displayed on the LCD. Consider your image files to be digital negatives. (Actually they are "positives" ­ more like slides than film negatives. ) Copy your images from the camera memory (or memory card) to your computer for storage. Once transferred to your computer, your images can be viewed, printed, sent to your friends and family via e-mail, used for a web site, or even sent to an online or store-based photofinisher. For safe, long-term storage consider saving your images on removable media such as floppy disk, Zip disk, CD-ROM, DVD or other archival media. After transferring pictures to your computer, images stored on the memory card or on the camera's internal memory can be deleted to make space for new images.
