Flip the cell phone to call a friend, press the nose to sniff around for a tasty treat and twist the cheese for some fun phrases. The mouse in the tummy moves in all directions and teaches about numbers and letters. [. . . ] AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® A-Z Mouse PadTM will automatically power-down after approximately 30 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button or by moving the mouse. ACTIVITIES Instructions & Activities 2/21/08 9:14:39 AM 1. Slide the mode selector switch to choose a mode of play. You will hear a mouse squeak, a song related to the selected mode and a fun phrase. The light-up screen will show a variety of fun animations with the sound. Move the mouse in the letter mode to learn letters, learn numbers in the number mode and hear random melodies in the melody mode. The songs and melodies will play one section at a time, continue moving the mouse to hear the complete melody or song. Move the mouse while a song or melody is playing to hear sound effects play over the voice or melody. The light-up screen will show a variety of fun animations with the sound. 78400manual. indd 5 3. Click the mouse button to hear the alphabet song or the number song, depending on the selected mode. Click the mouse button while a song is playing to hear random sounds play over the melody. The light-up screen will show a variety of fun animations with the sound. 5. Twist the cheese button to hear colors, shapes, numbers and random melodies, depending on the selected mode. The light-up screen will show a variety of fun animations with the sound. 6. Open or close the cell phone to hear phone sounds, phone related phrases and short tunes.
