When playback begns, the total number of messages s announced, followed by the day and time of the first message to be played. Basic operation Answering system Options during playback · Press VOL+/ VOL- to adjust the speaker volume. · Press /SKIP to skp to the next message. · Press /REPEAT to repeat the message currently playng. Press /REPEAT twce to lsten to the prevous message. · Press X/DELETE to delete the current message. " wll be announced f you press RECORD when the memory s full. · Each memo can be up to four mnutes n length. Press X/DELETE when the system s not n use. The system wll announce "To delete all old messages, press DELETE again. " Press X/DELETE agan. All prevously heard messages wll be erased. The system wll announce "All old messages deleted. " Delete all messages Record and play memos Memos are your own recorded messages used as remnders for yourself or other household members usng the same answerng system. They are saved, played back and deleted the same way as the answerng system messages. Record a memo 1. The system announces, "Record after the tone. After the tone, speak towards the mcrophone at the bottom front of the telephone base from about nne nches away. Press /PLAY/STOP when finished recording. If the base volume s set to 1, you wll not hear your messages as callers leave them. Call intercept When a caller s leavng a message on the answerng system and you decde to answer the call, press /FLASH. See the lst below for explanatons of other dsplays n ths counter. Window displays: 0 1-95 0-94 (flashing) When: No messages. Total number of old message(s) recorded. Total number of new and old messages recorded. The telephone base may have lost and reganed power.
