Thank you for purchasing the VTECH® LITTLE SMART Hug-A-BallTM learning toy!This product is one of a family of high-quality LITTLE SMART® electronic learning products. We at VTECH® are committed to providing the best possible products to entertain and educate your child. [. . . ] Do not use batteries of different types. Remove exhausted or new batteries from the equipment when the unit will not be used for an extended period of time. Do not attempt to recharge ordinary batteries. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES. NOTE: If for some reason the program/activity stops working, then please follow these steps: 1. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries. The unit should now be ready to play again. If the problem persists, please call our Consumer Services Department and a representative will be happy to help you. Turn the Off/Low/High Switch to "Hello, let's have a ball!" the ( ) position for high volume or to the ( ) position for low volume. You will hear a short tune followed by "Hello, let's have a ball!"
2. Move the ball to hear an animal sound effect followed by a melody or a spoken phrase. For example, when rolling the ball you will hear 1 of 6 animal sound effects followed by 1 of 6 random melodies. You may also hear "Hello, let's have a ball!" The animal lights will light up with all sound.
