If you press OFF when the Handset is ringing, the ringer will be temporarily muted. -ORPlace the Handset in the Base cradle to end your call. From the Base Unit SPEAKERPHONE · · Press SPEAKERPHONE. Press SPEAKERPHONE to end your call Answering Calls From the Base Unit SPEAKERPHONE · · Press SPEAKERPHONE. Press SPEAKERPHONE to end your call. REDIAL Redial from Base Unit · Pressing REDIAL will immediately dial the last number in the base unit redial memory. Hold down the REDIAL key for more than 2 seconds to erase the contents in redial memory. This is to prevent the accidental dialing of the number stored in redial memory. You will hear a confirmation tone. 24 Handset and Base Operation Mute Function MUTE During an active call pressing either the MUTE soft key on the Handset or the MUTE key on the Base ( when in speakerphone mode ), will disable the microphone. Press MUTE key again to return to normal 2-way conversation. Hold Function During an active call using the Handset, press the HOLD soft key to place your call on hold. Press ON (or SPEAKER) to return to the twoway conversation. Flash Function FLASH You can use your v 2651 with services such as Call Waiting. Simply press the ON key on the Handset to flash the line. Using the Base Speakerphone, press the FLASH key. VOLUME 1 From the Handset: During an active call, press the VOL soft key, then use the adjust the earpiece (or Handset Speaker) volume. and soft keys to Notice the change in the display graph as you adjust the volume. An increase in volume will be represented by an increase in shaded area on the graph. A decrease in volume will result in a reduction of the shaded area. Press OK to confirm your setting. Any Handset can then answer the PAGE, and enter INTERCOM mode with the Base by pressing the INTERCOM key.
