OR Press and enter a different location, then press SELECT. 15 ADVANCE OPERATION MESSAGE WAITING Your VT 9122 is capable of detecting a Visual Message Waiting signal, generated by many phone service providers. If you subscribe to VoiceMail service from your local telephone company, and a visual message waiting signal is provided, the Handset will display MESSAGE WAITING and the Base Unit MESSAGE light will glow to alert you to new, unplayed messages. ADVANCE OPERATION Once you have reviewed your new messages the indicators will go out. Press PROG/CHAN repeatedly, until MSG WAIT OFF?Press SELECT to confirm your choice. 16 CALL BLOCK AND BLOCK PREFIX If you want to block your Caller ID information from reaching the party you're calling, the CALL BLOCK feature should be used. Press PROG/CHAN repeatedly, until CALL BLOCK?ON (or OFF) is displayed. Press < or > until ON is flashing; then press SELECT. o 1. Press PROG/CHAN repeatedly, until BLK PREFIX is displayed. If you choose to use the Headset option, you must do the following: INSTALLATION * Obtain an optional accessory Head set, which is compatible with the VT 9122.
