The TONE position is used if you subscribe to Tone Dialing (DTMF) service. If you are not certain what type of service you have, check with your local telephone company. Dialing Keys To make a phone call, pick up the Handset. When you hear the dial tone, dial out the phone number you are calling using the keys 1 to 9 and 0.
