If it finds and registers correctly, then the mobile stays in idle mode ; if not, the mobile search automatically another network. 3- The mobile enters the manual/automatic mode, and the try to find an operator which is indicated by the application (like in manual mode) . If this attempt fails the automatic mode is entered. Command syntax: AT+CREG= <mode> Response syntax: +CREG: <mode>, <stat> [ , <lac>, <ci> ] for AT+CREG?command only <mode> 0: Disable network registration unsolicited result code (default) 1: Enable network registration code result code +CREG: <stat> 2: Enable network registration and location information unsolicited result code +CREG: <stat>, <lac>, <ci> if there is a change of the network cell. <stat> 0: not registered, ME is not currently searching a new operator 1: registered, home network 2: not registered, ME currently searching a new operator to register to 3: registration denied 4: unknown 5: registered, roaming <lac>: string type; two byte location area code in hexadecimal format (e. g. Command syntax: AT+CPOL= [ <index> ][ , <format> [ , <oper> ] ] The different possibilities are: AT+CPOL = <index> to delete an entry. [. . . ] Cause no 10: "Call barred" This cause indicates that the outgoing call barred service applies to the short message service for the called destination. Cause no 21: "Short message transfer rejected" This cause indicates that the equipment sending this cause does not wish to accept this short message, although it could have accepted the short message since the equipment sending this cause is neither busy nor incompatible. Cause no 27: "Destination out of service" This cause indicates that the destination indicated by the Mobile Station cannot be reached because the interface to the destination is not functioning correctly. The term "not functioning correctly" indicates that a signalling message was unable to be delivered to the remote user; e. g. , a physical layer or data link layer failure at the remote user, user equipment off-line, etc. [. . . ]
