Manual abstract: user guide WHIRLPOOL GSXP 7517INSTRUCTION FOR USE

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Factory setting = Wash upper and lower rack (both indicator lamps light up) Press once = Wash lower rack (the indicator lamp lights up) Press twice = Wash upper rack (the indicator lamp lights up) At the end of the programme, the most recently selected setting remains memorised. If the upper rack is not being washed, the “Wash lower rack” indicator lamp should be lit. Antibacterial rinse 3) This function activates an antibacterial rinse at the end of the wash cycle, guaranteeing a further reduction of bacteria. Press the button to activate or deactivate the function. [. . . ] - Close the cap of the salt container by turning it clockwise. Once regeneration salt is added, immediately start a wash programme (the “Pre-wash” programme alone is not sufficient). Residual saline solution or grains of salt can lead to deepdown corrosion, irreparably damaging the stainless steel components. The guarantee is not applicable if faults are caused by such circumstances. The salt level indicator lamp may remain lit at the end of several wash cycles. If the water hardness level falls within category 1 (soft), no salt is required. How to set the water hardness level - Press and hold the programme selection button and the Cancel/Off button for at least three seconds. - The hardness level set is shown on the display (where present) or the LEDs for programmes 1 - 3 indicate the water hardness setting according to the table below. - With each successive touch of the programme selection button, the setting increases and when it reaches 7 it returns to 1 again. - Press and hold the START button or wait 30 seconds for the setting to be saved! Press the Start button again. The programme resumes from where it was interrupted, with the door closed. The wash cycle can be interrupted at any time by pressing Cancel/Off button. The appliance drains water for about 60 seconds (with the door closed) then switches off automatically. END OF PROGRAMME Open the door carefully only after all the lights have switched off and a beep has sounded: hot steam may escape!Unload the appliance, starting from the lower rack in order to avoid any residual drips of water falling onto crockery below. - Be careful when the door is open: risk of tripping!- The open dishwasher door can only support the weight of the loaded rack when pulled out. Do not rest objects on the open door or sit or stand on it. - Sharp items that might cause injury (e. g. knives), must be placed in the cutlery basket (where present) with the sharp end facing downwards. Long-handled utensils must be arranged horizontally in the upper rack, with the sharp end facing away from the front of the appliance. [. . . ] If necessary, use more detergent, observing the manufacturer's indications as regards dosage. Always store detergent in a dry place and do not store it for excessively long periods of time. For heavily soiled crockery, select a wash programme with a higher temperature (see table 1. 1 on the first page). If you select the “Half load/Multizone” option (if available), remember to load only the upper rack or only the lower rack to increase aspersion and thus obtain optimum wash results. [. . . ]
