Switching on the refrigerator compartment for the first time • Press the refrigerator compartment “ON” button (1). • The green LED (2) lights up, indicating operation of the refrigerator compartment. Temperature Selection limit: min +6°C max +9°C • The inside light switches on when the refrigerator door is opened and an acoustic alarm sounds when the door has been left open for more than 1 minute. It will switch off when the door is closed. The temperature of the variable temperature compartment is approx. 3°C lower than in the other parts of the refrigerator. Important: • After being switched on, the refrigerator needs approximately 30 minutes to reach the correct temperature to store a typical volume of food in the refrigerator compartment. Important: Defrosting of the refrigerator compartment is completely automatic. To switch off the refrigerator compartment: 1. Press the refrigerator compartment “ON” button again (1). How to use the refrigerator compartment 1. Position the food as illustrated in the figure. This enables considerably prolonged storage of food without the need to freeze. Furthermore, food retains its original freshness and nutritional properties. This compartment is suitable for storing mainly meat and fish. Switching on the variable temperature compartment • Press the button (5).
