Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Instructions for use Before using the appliance Safeguarding the environment Precautions and general recommendations Electrical connection for Great Britain and Ireland only First use When the appliance is not used Appliance maintenance and cleaning Cleaning, sanitization and maintenance of the ice and/or water dispenser (if present) Using the ice and water dispenser (where provided) Using the automatic ice maker (where provided) Storing, freezing and thawing food “MULTIFLOW” air system (where provided) Guide to internal components Changing a water filter cartridge (where provided) After-sales service 4 4 5 6 7 7 8 8 9 10 11 11 12 13 14 Before using the appliance • This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as - staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; - farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; - bed and breakfast type environments; To ensure best use of your appliance, carefully read the operating instructions which contain a description of the product and useful advice. Keep these instructions for future reference. After unpacking the appliance, make sure it is not damaged and that the door closes properly. Any damage must be reported to the dealer within 24 hours of delivery of the appliance. [. . . ] Note: After being switched on, the appliance needs approximately 2/3 hours to reach the correct temperature to store a typical volume of food. As applicable, insert the anti-bacterial and anti-odour filter as indicated on the filter package. When the appliance is not used Disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Empty the appliance and leave the doors open just enough to allow air to circulate inside the compartments. This will prevent the formation of mould and bad odours. If your appliance has an automatic ice maker: 1. Shut off the water supply to the product. DURING BLACKOUTS For power failures lasting up to 12 hours, keep the doors of the appliance closed. In this way the stored food will stay cold as long as possible. Should the power failure last more than 12 hours, remove all food from the product and store it in a suitable appliance. 7 Appliance maintenance and cleaning Periodically clean the appliance with a new cloth and a solution of lukewarm water and neutral detergent specific for cleaning the inside of the refrigerator. Clean the condenser using a vacuum cleaner, after removing the front plinth (see Installation manual). The buttons and control panel display (in some models, located on the freezer door) must not be cleaned with alcohol or alcohol-derived substances, but with a dry cloth. Replacing the bulbs Important: • Always disconnect the refrigerator from the power supply before replacing any light bulbs. • Before replacing the bulb, remove the lamp cover (if present). After the bulb has been replaced, refit the lamp cover. • Internal lights are bayonet bulbs. • The ice and water dispenser light, if present, is a normal screw bulb although some models may have a LED light. • LED lights last longer than normal bulbs, they illuminate the inside of the appliance better and are more environmentally friendly. Only use bulbs of the same type which can be requested from the after-sales service and authorized dealers. If the appliance has a LED light, contact the after-sales service when a replacement is required. Cleaning, sanitization and maintenance of the ice and/or water dispenser (if present) Failure to follow the instructions regarding sanitizing can compromise the hygienic safety of the water dispensed. • When using the appliance for the first time and every time the filter is changed, discard the first 9-14 litres of water, equivalent to 6-7 minutes of dispensing (not necessarily consecutive, but before initial consumption) and discard the ice produced in the first 24 hours. • If the water dispenser has not been used for more than 4/5 days, it is advisable to clean the circuit and run off the first litre of water. • Reposition the removable water dispenser (if present), ensuring your hands are hygienically clean. [. . . ] In this way the temperature inside the meat drawer is kept lower than the rest of the refrigerator. The air flow can be adjusted by means of the special slider. • If you wish to store vegetables in the meat drawer, shift the control all the way to the left, to the fruit/vegetables setting. This avoids possible damage due to the vegetables freezing. [. . . ]
