The alarm is activated when the door is left open for 2 minutes and deactivates automatically when the door is closed. If the door needs to be kept open for more than 2 minutes, the alarm can be muted by pressing button (F); the alarm will activate again after 2 minutes if the door still remains open Control panel lock In order to avoid inadvertent selections (buttons being pressed by contact with packets and/or food, or by children) the control panel can be locked by pressing button (F) and (D) at the same time for approx. The letter L flashes on the display for approx. 5 seconds to indicate the panel has been locked successfully. With the control panel locked, no selections can be made.
