The filter symbol can become red according to product use and the natural depletion of the filter charge. When a new filter is required, the the symbol on the display turns yellow (99% of filter life has been used). Important: The filter must only be replaced when the symbol on the display is red. At this point the filter cartridge must be replaced. Replace the filter cartridge, then press the RESET button until the system has reset with the symbol becoming green. CHANGING A WATER FILTER CARTRIDGE The water filter is situated under the freezer compartment door. In this way the temperature inside the meat drawer is lower than in other parts of the refrigerator. Set the slider for higher or lower airflow. • If you wish to store vegetables in the meat drawer, move the control all the way to the left to the vegetables setting. This avoids possible frost damage to the vegetables.
