Droplets of water on the rear wall inside the refrigerator compartment indicate that the automatic defrost phase is in progress. The defrost water is automatically run into a drain hole and collected in a container, where it evaporates. DEFROSTING THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT Whirlpool No Frost freezers provide chilled air circulation around the storage areas and prevent the formation of ice, thereby completely eliminating the need for defrosting. Frozen items don't stick to the walls, labeling stays legible and storage space remains neat and clear. If the inside light is not working, it is necessary to: 1. Remove the light cover: put the fingers into the side ventilation holes (1), stretch the cover gently and move it upwards. If necessary unscrew the broken bulb and replace it with the new one (use maximum 15W bulb). GUIDE TO SELECTING FUNCTIONS Functions and settings Temperature setting button is used to select the fridge/freezer temperature set-point from among 5 levels (level 1, level 2, level 3, level 4, level 5) by consecutive pressing the button. OTHER ABNORMAL APPLIANCE OPERATIONS DISPLAYED BY LAMPS Printed in Poland 06/09 In case of abnormal appliance operation, all the temperature selection lamps will flash and a beep will sound. After pressing the Stop alarm / Stand-by mode button reset alarm , the beep will stop and the lamps will blink. To check the code alarm user have to press and hold the Temperature setting & Stand-by pushbuttons and alarm code will be showing on the temperature lamps (possible alarm codes are explained in the table below).
