Check: Voltage to the unit, restore it if there is none. Check: The master switch, switch ON if off. Check: The reset switch (high pressure): depress and release the switch. If the unit still does not start, check the high side pressure. Look through the ice chute "eye" hole for something blocking the ice chute. If the unit still does not run, replace the ice level sensors. If the bin empty light is still OFF, check the circuit board. Unplug "opto trans" and "LED" connectors from the circuit board. Plug "opto trans" and "LED" connectors from the Scotsman Electronic Control Tester Model NM1 into the circuit board (see page 36). Move the "bin full" switch on the tester to the full position. The bin full light on the tester should be ON, if not, replace the circuit board. If the bin full light on the tester is ON, move the tester switch to "bin empty" the light on the tester should go OFF and the bin empty light on the circuit board should go ON. If it does as above, and the machine still does not run, replace the ice level sensors. If the transformer is fine, and the "no water" light is ON, check the water level sensor. Check the water level in the reservoir, restore if low. [. . . ] DO NOT USE MINERAL OIL IN THIS REFRIGERATION SYSTEM. · HP62 is a "Near Azeotrope", and therefore liquid charging is preferred. · When the system is serviced, a special liquid line dryer is required. · Polyolester oil absorbs water very easily, and therefore when the system is opened for service, it must be re-sealed as soon as possible (15 minutes maximum).
