· Supervised glass break sensor (sends a self checking signal every 90 minutes). [. . . ] It sends a wireless radio frequency signal to the main console when a glass is broken or hit by a hammer. This dual technology ensures the glass break sensor is not tricked by other noise. The GB10E will detect breaking glass for the window that it is adhered to and also the adjacent pane of glass in the case of double windows. When the security system is armed, the alarm is tripped when a glass is broken. A slide switch on the front of the glass break sensor lets you select the sensitivity. The sensor sends a "self-checking" transmission approximately every 90 minutes. The console will not arm if a glass break sensor hasn't reported in (can be overdriven by pressing the console's Accept Button).
