If you follow the instructions included with your FloodCam,  it might intially seem that you are unable to turn off the floodlights. This will only happen if you set your FloodCam to be active only when it is dark. To avoid this,  set the FLOODLIGHT CONTROL dial to the DARK setting before connecting the FloodCam to power.
