[. . . ] The POWERMIDTM infrared remote control extender allows you to use existing remote control units to operate TV, VCR, Stereo, CD player, DVD or satellite systems from anywhere in the home. No installation is required as the units simply plug in to any AC outlet. POWERMIDTM works with any infrared controller including fast format code. The complete POWERMIDTM system consists of a transmitter unit and a receiver unit . The NEW POWERMIDTM XL now features a receiver with rechargeable batteries making the receiver independent of a mains outlet. Battery operation is possible up to 5000 hours. The POWERMIDTM transmitter receives infrared pulses from remote control units and re-transmits them as RF pulses at 433. 92 Mhz.
