English 7 En CONNECTIONS Connecting the supplied power cable To the wall outlet with the supplied power cable (Asia and General models) VOLTAGE SELECTOR (Asia and General models only) The VOLTAGE SELECTOR on the rear panel of this unit must be set for your local main voltage BEFORE plugging the supplied power cable into the wall outlet. Improper setting of the VOLTAGE SELECTOR may cause damage to this unit and create a potential fire hazard. Rotate the VOLTAGE SELECTOR clockwise or counterclockwise to the correct position using a straight slot screwdriver. If the problem you are experiencing is not listed below or if the instructions below do not help, set this unit to the standby mode, disconnect the power cable, and contact the nearest authorized Yamaha dealer or service center. General Problems Pressing the POWER switch on the front panel does not turn on this unit. The POWER on indicator also does not light up. Possible Causes The supplied power cable is not connected or the cable is not completely inserted. The POWER ( ) button is pressed on the remote control while this unit is turned off. There is a problem with the internal circuitries of this unit. Solutions Connect the supplied power cable firmly. Press POWER on the front panel to ON.
