Place the machine on a level surface and warm up the engine for several minutes. Make sure the engine oil is between upper and lower levels. Add oil as necessary. Place the machine so that the handlebar is up and auger housing is down when adding gear oil. Be sure the machine is securely placed. SKID (Auger Clearance) ADJUSTMENT · · Be sure the main switch key and spark plug lead are removed or disconnected before adjusting.
