[. . . ] Start Transactions 2. 1 Overview This sequence is for start communications. `Ready' is the command from host, and `Configuration' is a reply from BD/DVD Player. And by this command, BD/DVD player sets timeout for RS232C communication. HXR3L/2L does not set Timeout Length even being specified by the host. [. . . ] When the player receives these commands, player must switch settings of RS232C according to the commands. And the player must reply Command Report when it is not prohibited. (These commands are used commonly with YAMAHA's other products. System Command is used for getting the status of the player or the inserted media.
