Before turning the power on or off for all devices, set all volume levels to minimum. Use of other types of cables may result in fire. Do not insert your fingers or hands in any gaps or openings on the device. Do not operate the device if the sound is distorting. Prolonged use in this condition could cause overheating and result in fire. Select a suitable power amplifier for use with this device (see SPECIFICATIONS). Each connection should follow correct polarity, i. If polarity is crossed between speakers, specified performance may not be achieved. Strip approximately 15 mm (5/8) of insulation from the end of each speaker cable and tightly twist the exposed stranded wire. Angle the speaker for ease of connection, and then secure firmly with the retaining knobs. Before performing connections, ensure the retaining knobs are secure enough to prevent the speaker falling and causing injury. # Insert each stranded wire under its respective screw, and then tighten down.
