Output signal · - side (-50 to 0): Weakens dark scenes, increasing image contrast while reducing the clarity of black shading. Black Input signal White White Level (Input signal) Video/S-Video/Component/RGB TV Adjusts the bright areas (white level) in the image. Changes the brightness of an image without altering the brightness of the black areas of the image. · + side (0 to +50): White Increases the brightness of white areas in the image, increasing contrast clarity, but rendering white shadings difficult to see. Output signal · - side (-50 to 0): Reduces the contrast of images. Black Input signal White Brightness (Input signal) RGB PC Adjusts the overall brightness of the image. · Increase luminance (0 to +50): White Setting this figure too high results in a white saturated image without any black. · Decrease luminance (-50 to 0) Output signal Setting this figure too low darkens the entire image. Black Input signal White Contrast (Input signal) RGB PC Adjusts the bright areas (white level) in the image. Changes the brightness of an image without altering the brightness of the black areas of the image. white level · + side (1. 00 to 1. 50): White Increases the brightness of white areas in the image, increasing contrast clarity, but rendering white shadings difficult to see. Output signal · - side (0. 50 to 1. 00): Reduces the contrast of images. Black Input signal White Gamma (Input signal) Video/S-Video/Component/RGB TV/RGB PC Changes the way the unit responds to changes in the shadings and color tones of the image. (Input signal) Video/S-Video/Component/RGB TV/RGB PC Adjusts color temperature. Adjusts the level of white in colors between red and blue, and between green and magenta. Increase the color temperature to increase the amount of blue in an image, giving bright color tones. Reduce the color temperature to increase the amount of red, giving a darker, more relaxed atmosphere to the image. Choices: 5, 000 to 10, 000 Color temprature adjustment White Correction (Input signal) Video/S-Video/Component/RGB TV/RGB PC Adjusts hUV. Increasing the hUV setting increases the amount of green in the image. Decreasing this setting increases the amount of magenta. Choices: -0. 02 to +0. 02 hUV English + ­ 31 Menu items Color Adjustment (continued) (Input signal) Video/S-Video/Component/ RGB TV/RGB PC/D4 VIDEO - WRGB Adjusts the color temperature, the color coordinates and gain for the three primary colors, R(Red), G(Green), and B(Blue). The unit sets the complemental colors Y(Yellow), C(Cyan), and M(Magenta) automatically. Adjusting [Color Temp. ] resets the RGB gain based on color coordinate settings.
