Stop after ending plays If you press the [INTRO/ENDING/rit. ] button a second time (while the ending is playing), the ending will play in ritardando (the tempo will gradually get slower). 48 PSR-E303/YPT-300 Owner's Manual Style (Auto Accompaniment) Functions Pattern Variation (Sections) The instrument features a wide variety of Style "sections" (patterns) that allow you to vary the arrangement of the accompaniment to match the Song you are playing. Intro Main A/B Ending Auto fill INTRO section This is used for the beginning of the Song When the intro finishes playing, accompaniment shifts to the main section. The length of the intro (in measures) differs depending on the selected Style. MAIN section This is used for playing the main part of the Song. It plays a main accompaniment pattern, and repeats indefinitely until another section's button is pressed. There are two variations on the basic pattern (A and B), and the Style playback sound changes harmonically based on the chords you play with your left hand. Fill-in section This is automatically added before changing the section A and B. ENDING section This is used for the ending of the Song. When the ending is finished, the auto accompaniment stops automatically. The length of the ending (in measures) differs depending on the selected Style. 1 2 Press the [STYLE] button and then select a Style. Press the [ACMP ON/OFF] button. Appears when the auto accompaniment is on. 3 Turn SYNC START on. Press the [SYNC START] button. There are two basic ways (below) you can play the chords on the left-hand side of the keyboard, while playing the Style (page 23) Split Point--default setting: 54 (F#2) Easy Chords Standard Chords 36 48 60 72 84 96 Easy Chords This method lets you easily play chords in the accompaniment range of the keyboard using only one, two, or three fingers.
