MUSIC(M) folder: This folder stores music files transferred from your computer. RECYCLE ( ) folder: This is a trash can folder. ALARM folder: This folder stores files that can be played as an alarm. (The folder name will not be displayed. ) DATA folder: This folder stores data files. Please refer to the Reference Manual for information on the other functions. About Recording mode The RHH135 records audio in the MP3 or PCM (WAV) format. As a rule of thumb, select "PCM 44. 1kHz" (better sound quality) for Recording mode to record a musical performance. Select "MP3 128kbps" (smaller data size) to record musical practice sessions or conference meetings. About the ALC (Auto Level Control) function Auto Level Control function automatically adjusts the recording level in response to the source level so that the resulting recording will be dynamically tighter. ALC OFF Feature The recording will accurately represent the original sound, with the sound dynamics maintained as is. Musical performance and nature recordings ALC ON The recording dynamics will be adjusted, with a higher level sound recorded slightly quieter and a lower level sound recorded slightly louder. This setting will reduce distortion and is better for dictation.
