Keep it in a safe place for future reference. 2 Install this sound system in a well ventilated, cool, dry, clean place ­ away from direct sunlight, heat sources, vibration, dust, moisture, and/or cold. Notes · Any stored station data existing under a preset station number is cleared when you store a new station under the same preset station number. · If the number of received stations does not reach 40 (E8), automatic preset tuning automatically stops after searching for all the available stations. · Only FM stations with sufficient signal strength are stored automatically by automatic preset tuning. If the station you want to store is weak in signal strength, tune into it manually and store it as described in "Manual preset tuning" below. · Only Radio Data System broadcasting station are stored automatically by automatic preset tuning (Europe model only). 1 2 Rotate the I INPUT selector on the front panel to select "TUNER" as the input source. Press 3 FM/AM to select "FM" as the reception band. "FM" appears in the front panel display. Press and hold 6 MEMORY for more than 3 seconds. The preset station number as well as the MEMORY and AUTO indicators flashes. After approximately 5 seconds, automatic presetting starts from the current frequency and proceeds toward higher frequencies.
