It receives signals from a remote control provided with a YAMAHA amplifier or AV receiver. Notes · Do not place any large obstacles between the remote control and this unit. · If the remote control sensor is directly illuminated by strong lighting (especially an inverter type fluorescent lamp), you may not be able to control this unit using the remote control. In this case, reposition this unit to avoid direct lighting. Automatic tuning is effective when station signals are strong and there is no interference. Manual tuning If the signal from the station you want to select is weak, tune into it manually. Manually tuning into an FM station will automatically switch the tuner to monaural reception to increase the signal quality. OPERATIONS MHz Notes When tuned into a station, the front panel display shows the frequency of the station received. · Any stored station data existing under a preset number is cleared when you store a new station under that preset number. · The reception mode (stereo or monaural) is stored along with the station frequency. 2 Press A/B/C/D/E repeatedly to select a preset station group (A to E) in the front panel display. The example below describes the procedure for exchanging preset station "E1" with "A5".
