IMPORTANT Check your power supply Make sure that your local AC mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the name plate on the bottom panel. [. . . ] To engage the Synchro Start function, press the SONG [START/STOP] button while holding a track button that is ON. The right-most dot on the display will flash at the current tempo. (Repeat the previous operation to disengage the Synchro Start function. ) Playback will then start as soon as you begin playing on the keyboard. This function is useful when you wish to match the timing of the beginning of the playback sound and the start of your own performance. Assigning the START/STOP function to the left pedal The left pedal can also be assigned to song start/stop operation via the "Pedal Start/ Stop" (page 40). This is convenient for starting playback of the recorded part anytime after you have started playing. TIP Tracks can be turned on or off before or during playback. If both tracks are turned off, playback will not start (or the playback will stop). TIP You can adjust the volume of a part of a song from "50 Greats for the Piano" for which playback is turned off (pages 18, 40). During recorder playback, the volume of a track that is turned off will always be "0. " NOTE If you press the SONG [START/ STOP] button while holding down a track button that is OFF, track playback is turned on and the Synchro Start function is placed on stand-by.
