The cooker hood is not working effectively · The fan speed is set high enough for the task. · The kitchen is adequately vented to allow the entry of fresh air. · If set up for recirculation, check that the charcoal filter is still effective. · If set up for extraction, check that the ducting and outlets are not blocked. · The safety cut-out device has been tripped. · Turn off the hob and then wait for the device to reset. The cooker hood has switched off during operation If after all these checks, the problem persists, contact your local Service Force Centre, quoting the model and serial number. Please note that it will be necessary to provide proof of purchase for any in-guarantee service calls. In-guarantee customers should ensure that the above checks have been made as the engineer will make a charge if the fault is not a mechanical or electrical breakdown.
