Rinse aid Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, and spot and streak free drying. Rinse aid can be added in one of two ways: q To fill: 1. Open the door, remove the lower basket and unscrew the cap of the salt container by turning it anticlockwise. Pour 1 litre of water inside the container (this is necessary only before filling with salt for the first time). Using the funnel provided, pour in the salt until the container is full. Replace the cap making sure that there is no trace of salt on the screw thread or on the gasket. Screw on the cap tightly turning it clockwise until it stops with a click. If in the rinse aid dispenser there is still rinse aid you must wait until it has finished before using detergent that contains rinse aid. If you are using dishwasher detergent and rinse aid separately, the rinse aid is to be put into the rinse aid dispenser. - In this case the rinse aid dosage must be set in position from 1 to 6 (see "Adjusting the dose"). q Filling with rinse aid (Rinse aid dispenser type A) 1.
