Should the appliance be sold or transferred to another owner, or should you move house and leave the appliance, always ensure that the book is left with the appliance in order that the new owner can get to know the functioning of the appliance and the relevant safety information. [. . . ] This is the perfect daily programme, made to meet the needs of a family of 4 persons who only wish to load breakfast and dinner crockery and cutlery. Testing programme for EN 50242 (see "Hints for Test Centres"). This programme, developed for the use of detergents with enzymes, allows you to achieve, with reduced consumption of energy the same cleaning results that would otherwise be obtained only with the 65°C programmes and conventional detergents. To compensate the lower temperature, the duration of washing and drying have been extended. The consumption values are intended as a guide and depends on the pressure and the temperature of the water and also by the variations of the power supply. (2) (3) 12 Starting a washing programme 1. Check that the baskets have been loaded correctly and that the spray arms can rotate freely 2. Press the On/Off push button The On/Off indicator light will come on. From the moment that the washing programme has been set, the delay start will begin with the countdown. The countdown will decrease with step of 3 hours. During the countdown, the indicator light of the selected programme and the indicator light of the number of hours to the start of the programme will remain illuminated. Once the delay start has elapsed the programme will start automatically, the indicator lights for delay start turn off and the indicator light of the phase underway illuminates. Cancelling the "delay start" It is possible to cancel a countdown in progress or before it starts, simply pressing the delay start push button until the indicator lights corresponding to the delay start hours are off. In this case the selected washing programme will start automatically after 6 seconds. 5. Setting and starting the programme Press the push button corresponding to the required programme (see "Washing programmes" chart). The indicator light corresponding to the programme illuminates and the phase indicator lights foreseen for that programme start flashing. It is possible to change the programme selection simply pressing the push button of another programme within 6 seconds. Once the programme has started the phase indicator lights will turn off except for the phase under way. 8. End of the washing programme The dishwasher will automatically stop and the end of programme phase indicator light will illuminate. The indicator light of the programme just ended will remain on. The dishwasher has finished the programme only when the end of programme indicator light (END) is illuminated. If you do not wait for the end of the programme it will not be possible to start a new programme until the previous programme has been cancelled. (For instructions on how to cancel a programme see the corresponding instructions). If during the drying phase (DRY indicator light illuminated) the dishwasher door is opened or the On/Off push button is pressed, the running programme is automatically cancelled and the machine returns to setting mode (in this case it is possible to select a new programme without cancelling the previous) Switch off the dishwasher by pressing the On/Off push button, the On/Off indicator light turns off. [. . . ] The drain hose can face either to the right or left of the dishwasher Ensure the hose is not bent or squashed as this could prevent or slow down the discharge of water. The sink plug must not be in place when the machine is draining as this could cause the water to siphon back into the machine. If you use a drain hose extension it must be no longer than 2 metres and its internal diameter must be no smaller than the diameter of the hose provided.
