Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] In this way you can obtain best performance, avoid incorrect operations, use the appliance in complete safety and respect the environment. Installation · Modifying or attempting to change the characteristics of this product is hazardous. · Appliance installation and connection to the power supply must only be carried out by qualified personnel. Before carrying out any operation, make sure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply. [. . . ] Therefore, when introducing or removing food from the oven, make sure the sauces (oil, juices, melted fats) do not spill in considerable quantities on the bottom. In which case, carefully clean the bottom of the oven before starting other cooking. This will also prevent the build-up of unpleasant fumes and odours. Safety thermostat To prevent dangerous overheating (through incorrect use of the appliance or defective components), the oven is fitted with a safety thermostat, which interrupts the power supply. The oven switches back on again automatically, when the temperature drops. Should the safety thermostat trigger due to incorrect use of the appliance, it is enough to remedy the error after the oven has cooled down; if on the other hand, the thermostat triggers because of a defective component, please contact your nearest Technical Assistance Centre. Cooling fan The oven is equipped with a fan for cooling the control panel, knobs and the oven door grip. The fan is automatically activated approx. During operation, a flow of warm air comes out of the opening placed beneath the control panel. To prevent dangerous overheating, this fan continues to work EVEN AFTER THE OVEN IS SWITCHED OFF, until the temperature falls to normal levels. The fan goes off automatically. 22 Advice for cooking meat and fish Meat can be arranged in oven-proof cookware, or placed directly on the grill. In the latter case, ALWAYS pour a little water in the drip-tray and insert it on the guides under the grill. - The material and finish of the baking trays and dishes used will affect base browning. Enamelware, dark, heavy or non-stick utensils increase base browning, while oven glassware, shiny aluminium or polished steel trays reflect the heat away and give less base browning. - Always place dishes centrally on the shelf to ensure even browning. - Stand dishes on suitably sized baking trays to prevent spillage onto the base of the oven and make cleaning easier. - Do not place dishes, tins or baking trays directly on the oven base as it becomes very hot and damage will occur. When using this setting, heat comes from both the top and bottom elements. This allows you to cook on a single level and is particularly suitable for dishes which require extra base browning such as quiches and flans. Gratins, lasagnes and hotpots which require extra top browning also cook well in the conventional oven. Select the Conventional Oven Function by pressing the Oven Function control button until the symbol appears in the display. button . and select the "Fan Cooking" function 3. If necessary adjust temperature setting using the " " or " " buttons. 24 Top Heat This function is suitable for finishing cooked dishes, e. g. lasagne, shepherds pie, cauliflower cheese etc. [. . . ] All the parts ensuring protection, and also a possible covering panel (e. g. if the appliance is placed at the end or beginning of modular units), must be fixed so that they cannot be removed without using a tool. It is advisable to install the appliance at a certain distance from refrigerators and freezers, because the heat given off could affect their operation. OVEN OVERALL DIMENSIONS FITTING IN COLUMN UNDERCOUNTER INSTALLATION 44 Fixing to the cabinet · Insert the appliance in the compartment. [. . . ]
