If using concentrated powder or liquid detergents, a programme without prewash must be selected. The washing machine incorporates a recirculation system which allows an optimal use of the concentrated detergent. Pour liquid detergent into the dispenser drawer compartment marked Wash just before starting the programme. Any fabric softener or starching additives must be poured into the compartment marked Softeners before starting the wash programme. Follow the product manufacturer's recommendations on quantities to use and do not exceed the «MAX» mark in the detergent dispenser drawer. 12 International wash code symbols These symbols appear on fabric labels, in order to help you choose the best way to treat your laundry. Pour half a measure of detergent into the main wash compartment and start up the machine. 3. Measure out the additive If required, pour fabric softener into the compartment marked Softeners , without exceeding the «MAX» mark. 1. Place the laundry in the drum Open the door by depressing the DOOR RELEASE button. Place the laundry in the drum, one item at a time, shaking them out as much as possible. [. . . ] · A gentle programme that stops with water in the tub has been selected. · The laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. · Too much detergent or unsuitable detergent (creates too much foam) has been used. · Check whether there are any leaks from one of the inlet hose fittings.
