Seven different positions permit the hot plates to be regulated as required. The knobs can be turned clockwise or anti-clockwise. In position "6" the maximum disbursement of heat is obtained; in position "0" the plate is switched off (figure l). To ensure the long-life of the appliance, and for a greater saving of electricity, we advise you to follow these precautions: - use only flat based saucepans with a diameter not - - smaller than that of the plate (figure 2); do not allow liquids to boil over onto the plate; never leave plates on without a saucepan or with an empty saucepan; do not use the appliance to heat the room; only switch on the plate when saucepan is in position; to avoid damage caused by humidity do not place wet pans on the hot plate, or leave hot saucepans to become cold.
