[. . . ] Detach the plug (F) from the ventilation grill (D). To do this, press it in the direction of the arrow. Introduce the plug (G), which is delivered with the appliance, into the hole left free on the opposite side. The holes which are not used are masked by plastic plugs which should be removed and refitted onto the free holes. The doors can be aligned by adjusting both the middle and top hinges. The middle hinge can be adjusted horizontally, with the help of a tool, after having slackened the two screws. The top hinge is adjusted by slackening the nut with a 10 mm spanner and then proceeding as shown in the Figure. Loosen all the screws fixing the door frames. Insert the panel from the side on which the frame has been removed and push it through. Refit the frame to the door. Fast freezing Turn the knob (E-Fig. 6) to «S» (SUPER) setting (pilot light (B) comes on). Warning light (C-Fig. 6) Storing of frozen foods Insert the plug into the wall socket, pilot light (A) will come on; this indicates that the appliance is switched on. To safely store frozen and deep-frozen foods, the temperature inside the freezer must be at least ­18°C or colder. Therefore, we suggest you turn the knob (D) to a medium setting. The temperature inside the freezer is automatically adjusted to ensure safe storage of the food. However if the appliance works in unfavourable room conditions such as poor ventilation, high or low ambient temperature and frequent door openings, it might be necessary to adjust the setting. During the freezing process, do not add further food for freezing and do not open the freezer door. Food for freezing should not be placed in contact with already frozen food. [. . . ] During this operation it is not necessary to switch off the power or to remove the foods from the compartment. Do not use sharp instruments to scrape off frost to avoid damaging the appliance. If a thick layer of ice is formed it will be necessary to carry out complete defrosting as follows: set the knob (D) to «O» or unplug the appliance from the mains socket; wrap frozen food in several layers of newspaper and place the food packages in a cool place. Insert the plastic scraper in the appropriate seating, place a basin underneath to collect the defrost water (Fig. [. . . ]
