Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] This appliance is designed to be operated by adults. Children should not be allowed to tamper with the controls or play with the product. Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. This product should be serviced by an authorized Service Centre, and only genuine spare parts should be used. [. . . ] To achieve the best performance when the appliance is set under a wall cabinet, the top of the appliance should be at least 5 mm away from the base of the wall cabinet (A). However, the appliance should ideally not be installed underneath wall cabinets (as shown in B). One or more adjustable feet mounted on the base of the appliance make it possible to set it perfectly level. 5mm Cleaning the appliance's interior Before using the appliance for the first time, wash all internal parts with lukewarm water and neutral soap so as to remove the typical «new» smell and then dry thoroughly. Do not use detergents or abrasive powders as these will damage the finish. A B D181 4 Door reversibility Unplug the appliance from the power supply before carrying out the below-mentioned operations. Remove the freezer door by releasing it from the middle hinge (H). Remove the fridge door by releasing it from the top hinge pin (A). Remove the pin and the washer (A+B) from the top hinge (C), then mount these on the opposite side. Replace the middle hinge to the left hand side. Screw down the bottom hinge (E) on the opposite side by using the screws previously removed. Detach the plug (F) from the ventilation grill (D). To do this, press it in the direction of the arrow. Introduce the plug (G), which is delivered with the appliance, into the hole left free on the opposite side. The holes which are not used are masked by plastic plugs which should be removed and refitted onto the free holes. The doors can be aligned by adjusting both the middle and top hinges. The middle hinge can be adjusted horizontally, with the help of a tool, after having slackened the two screws. The top hinge is adjusted by slackening the nut with a 10 mm spanner and then proceeding as shown in the Figure. Attention After completion of the door reversibility operation, verify that the door gasket is adherent to the cabinet. If the ambient temperature is cold (i. e. in Winter), the gasket may not fit perfectly to the cabinet. In that case, wait for the natural fitting of the gasket or accelerate this process by heating up the part involved with a normal hairdrier. D405 D426 D071 E F G G D F C B A D427 H 5 USE Control panel 3 4 A A. Thermostat knob B Operation-Temperature adjustment Connect the plug to the wall socket. Start by using a medium setting and then, later, select the thermostat position most suitable for your requirements. [. . . ] The rating is shown on the light bulb cover. Internal cleaning Clean the inside and accessories of the refrigerating compartment with warm water and sodium bicarbonate (one tablespoon in 4 litres of water). Clean the inside of the freezer compartment after each complete defrosting. External cleaning Wash the outer cabinet with warm soapy water. Once or twice a year dust the condenser (black grill) and compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush or vacuum cleaner. An accumulation of dust will affect the performance of the appliance and cause excessive electricity consumption. D055 Periods of non-operation When the appliance is not in use for long periods, disconnect from the mains, empty and clean, leaving the door ajar to prevent unpleasant smells. CUSTOMER SERVICE What to do if the appliance is not functioning properly If something is not working properly, check that: the plug is firmly in the wall socket and the mains power switch is on; there is an electricity supply (find out by plugging in another appliance); the thermostat knob is in the correct position.
