Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Please fill in the necessary details on the Card Certificate and send it to the Zanussi Centre covering the area in which the appliance is to be installed. Read this instruction manual carefully and follow the recommendations it provides to benefit from years of excellent service. The appliance which you have just purchased has been very accurately controlled throughout the entire manufacturing process. Nevertheless, should any problem arise during usage, whether it be during the warranty period, or when such period has expired, please contact your nearest Zanussi Service Centre immediately. [. . . ] The class of your appliance is shown on its rating plate. Make sure that there is nothing at the back, at the top and at the bottom of the appliance to obstruct air circulation. For a more efficient operation of the appliance, the minimum distance between the top of the appliance and other overhanging kitchen furniture, if any, should be at least 15 mm (see Fig. However, the best solution would be that shown in Fig. Two adjustable feet at the cabinet base allow accurate levelling of the appliance. 15mm Fig. 1 A B Cleaning the interior Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brand-new product, then dry thoroughly. Do not use detergents which will leave an odour or abrasive powders on the interior, as these will damage the finish. D175 13 Door reversal directions Unplug the appliance from the power supply before carrying out the below-mentioned operations. Remove the freezer door by releasing it from the middle hinge (H). Remove the fridge door by releasing it from the top hinge pin (A). Remove the pin and the washer (A+B) from the top hinge (C), then mount these on the opposite side, after having removed the plugs which must be refitted on the other side. Replace the middle hinge to the left hand side. If the appliance is already in operation, it should run on the fast-freeze setting for at least 24 hours before the food is put in the freezer. Once the food has been placed in the freezer, the freezing operation can be considered to be complete 24 hours later. Once freezing is complete, the freezer must be reset for normal storage use. Food to be frozen must be placed in the top compartment. The maximum amount of food which is freezable in 24 hours is 16 kg. To help you get the best out of the freezing process, here are a few hints: Freeze only good-quality, fresh and well-cleaned foods. Split them into small portions to speed up freezing and to avoid having to thaw more food than you require. It is in fact important to remember that once food has thawed out, it deteriorates fast. Another point to remember is that lean foods keep better and longer than fatty foods. Wrap food in foil or polythene film, ensuring that the wrapping adheres closely to the food and is well sealed. In this way, by avoiding contact with air, the colour flavour and nutritional value of the food remains intact. [. . . ] Raw meat and fish must be place above the fruit and vegetable compartment. In this position, fresh meat can be stored for 1-2 days at most. 6 D064 For more thorough cleaning, the top door shelf can be removed by pulling it in the direction of the arrows, then refitting it in position (Fig. 9 1 2 3 D066 D176 17 Use and features of the «CRISP'N FRESH» filter The glass shelf on top of the vegetable drawer is fitted with a special filter called «CRISP'N FRESH» which ensures the correct amount of ventilation, and significantly reduces the rate of food dehydration; vegetables therefore store better and keep longer.
