For synthetics, delicates and wool (programme N short spin) the maximum position corresponds to 750 rpm. The intermediate positions refer to all fabrics (cotton, synthetics, delicates and wool). 5 Intensive rinse button Can be used only for cotton programmes A-B-C-D-F. The machine will perform the rinses with more water. This option is recommended for people who are allergic to detergents and in areas where the water is very soft. 6 Temperature selector dial Turn this dial to select the washing temperature. Position = cold wash. 7 Programme selector Dial To select the required programme, turn this dial clockwise until the programme letter is exactly opposite the pointer. Before selecting a programme or changing a programme in progress the machine must be switched off by depressing ON/OFF button . 3 Mains on light This light is on whilst the machine is operating and goes out at the end of the programme. 4 ON/OFF button By depressing this button the machine is switched on. By depressing it again the machine is switched off. 8 Washing hints Sorting the laundry Follow the wash code symbols on each garment label and the manufacturer's washing instructions. Sort the laundry as follows: whites, coloureds, synthetics, delicates, woollens. Measure out the amount of detergent recommended by the manufacturer in a graduated cup and pour it into the main wash compartment .
