By depressing it again the machine is switched off. 6 Intensive rinse button Can be used only for cotton programmes A-B-C-D-F. The machine will perform the rinses with more water. This option is recommended for people who are allergic to detergents and in areas where the water is very soft. 3 Mains on light This light is on whilst the machine is operating and goes out at the end of the programme. 7 Rinse hold (anti-crease) button By depressing this button the water of the last rinse is not emptied out to avoid any creasing in the laundry. To drain water and spin, depress button again. To drain only, select programme P. 4 Spin suppression button Depress this button when you have to wash particularly delicate items in order to exclude all the spinning phases. 8 Temperature selector dial Turn this dial to select the washing temperature. Position = cold wash. 5 Spin speed reduction button By depressing this button the final spin speed is reduced as follows: from 800 to 400 rpm on programmes for cotton and linen from 550 to 400 rpm in programmes for synthetics, delicates and wool. 9 Programme selector Dial To select the required programme, turn this dial clockwise until the programme letter is exactly opposite the pointer. Sort the laundry as follows: whites, coloureds, synthetics, delicates, woollens.
