The appliance must be installed at a minimum distance of cm. 50 from curtains or other combustible material. Where this appliance is installed in marine craft or in caravans, it shall not be used as a space heater. l l l Never use plastic or aluminium foil dishes on the hob. [. . . ] When using the hob for a long period time, the ventilation should be improved, by opening a window or increasing the extractor speed. This is quite normal and will disappear after a few minutes. Preheat the broiler on a full setting for 15 minutes, then adjust the heat setting as desired. Suggestions for the correct setting of the broiler are given in the table below. The settings and cooking times are intended as a guide only.
