Domestic Use The domestic refrigerators and freezers are designed to be used specifically for the storage of edible foodstuffs only. Defrosting Refrigerator compartment Defrosting the refrigerator compartment is automatic. The defrost water drains out through a trough into a container at the back of the appliance, above the motor compressor, where it evaporates.
