Children should not be allowed to tamper with the controls or play with the product. m Any electrical work required to install the appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. [. . . ] Take action as described in the "food preservation" section (page 7). Fast Freeze: (SUPERFROST) Dynamic Cooling (DAC): The SUPERFROST function is ideal for freezing food quickly. Press selection button D until the fast freeze symbol appears. When the Fast Freeze function is activated, the freezer temperature adjusts automatically. After about 48 hours, the Fast Freeze function switches off automatically, and the temperature gradually returns to the previously set level. This function may be switched off manually by pressing button D again. Alarm Warning The Dynamic Cooling (DAC) system(some models) provides extra performance in the refrigerator compartment, which is manifested as: · Faster cooling. This is particularly appropriate when the weather is warm (ambient temperatures above 25°), and when a large amount of food is stored. It is also recommended for humid environments (if an accumulation of frost is observed on the back wall of the refrigerator compartment). To use this feature, press the switch. The display will turn red and an alarm will sound in the following situations: 1. - Refrigerator door open. If the refrigerator door remains open for more than 3 minutes, the red warning light will begin flashing and an alarm will sound. To switch off the alarm, press the «alarm off D» button. The red warning light will switch off when the door is closed. If the temperature increases to more than - 11°C, the red warning light will begin flashing and an alarm will sound. To switch off the alarm, press the «alarm off D» button. The temperature display will stop flashing, but the m symbol will continue to flash. The red warning light will switch off when the temperature inside the freezer decreases to less than 11°C. See the chapter on «Troubleshooting». 36 Inside light: (H) The light switches on when the refrigerator compartment door is opened, and switches off when it is closed.
