If you want to use the external microphone, remove the violet jumper (No. 7)and activate the external microphone in the Bluetooth setup. Now plug in the violet connector with the external microphone instead of the jumper. If you want to use the internal microphone again, simply swap the external mic connector and use the jumper again. Pls check if all plug-and-socket connections are correctly connected and well engaged, before you start with the final installation of the ZEM-560U. After you removed the OE radio, connect all necessary new cables according to steps 1 - 3. Also make sure you have the media-link box and the GPS antenna properly placed. Subsequently, get the air condition control unit out of the way. In order to do so, push the left and right hand metal holders slightly upwards and pull the air condition control out of the center console. Now plug the available cable connectors into the ZE-5010 and settle it back into the center console. There is a dividing girder inside the center console which might cause it to be a very tight fit. In that case, arm yourself with a thin small lever to push the girder slightly downwards, while pressing the ZE-5010 back into the center console until it snaps in.
