Settings remain in memory even if you remove the disc from the player or switch off the player. If you load a disc that has its settings memorized, Latest Stop Position is automatically recalled. Notes Settings are stored in memory for use any time. Switching of the audio mode, etc. , is automatic on some discs. This player does not memorize if you switch off the player when a DVD or title menu appears on the TV screen. HDCD Playback HDCD is a process that increases the fidelity of both specially encoded HDCD discs and standard CD audio discs. When an HDCD-encoded disc is playing, the special decoder is automatically activated and the HDCD Indicator lights. To enjoy the benefits of HDCD, your DVD Player must be connected to your A/V receiver via the Analog Audio Outputs.
