When the indicator light turns on, you can release the key. Push the key with the name of the device you're programming (VCR, CABLE, AUX, TV). Using the NUMBER keypad, enter the three-number code found on the charts on pages 34 - 35. Press ENTER to save the code The indicator light will flash three times and turn off if the code was accepted. Point the remote at the device and push the POWER key. If not, try the other codes listed and continue from Step 3. Test it to make sure it's the correct one by following the procedure in "Programming Your Remote" on the previous page. Program your audio system into one of the available AUX modes: Aux, Aux+1, Aux+2, or Aux+3. Press and hold PRG on your remote until the indicator light stays lit, then release. The indicator light will flash three times if the code was accepted. Audio system volume/mute now appears in all modes. Note: You can also program Cable Box Volume and Mute control (if available) into your cable box mode (CABLE or AUX mode) by repeating the steps for programming on the previous page but entering 3-9-9, instead of a brand code, then pressing ENTER. Your volume and mute keys now control your amplifier, while all the other keys still operate the Presentation TV. To put everything back to normal, reprogram all modes with their original codes (see the "Programming Your Remote" page).
