Edge Color Selects the edge color for Closed Caption (If the edge type is selected as None, or if the edge type is selected as Set By Program and the program sets the edge type as None, then the edge color does not have any effect on the caption display). 23 OPERATION Use caption feature defaults as provided by the program or customize captions appearance with the Custom menu options. Set By Program: Default text provided by a broadcaster is shown when closed captions appear. Custom: Customized text is shown when closed captions appear. Lock (Parental Control) Menu Options Lock System Sets up specific channels and ratings through blocking schemes. Activates or disables all of the Lock schemes previously set up. A password is required to gain access to the Lock menu. You can change the password by entering a new password twice. When the system is set to `not blocked', the Block Channel and Program Rating features do not function and the program appears as it is broadcast. 1 Press MENU.
