GB Requirements on the location of use For safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the location of use must meet the following requirements: Do not use the appliance in a hot, wet or very humid environment or near to combustible material. NEVER cover the air intake opening 2 and the air outlet opening 6 of the appliance. There will be a risk of the appliance overheating and a fire hazard. The mains power socket must be easily accessible, so that the power cable can be quickly disconnected if necessary. Operating temperature range: +5 to +40°C Air humidity (no condensation): 5 - 90 % Electrical connection For safe and faultless operation of the appliance pay heed to the following points for the electrical connection: Before you connect the appliance, compare the connection data (voltage and frequency) on the typeplate with that of your electrical network. This data must match to avoid damage to the appliance. Ensure that the connection cable 4 is undamaged and it is not laid over hot surfaces and/or sharp edges. Ensure that the connection cable 4 is not over-taut or kinked. The mains power socket must be easily accessible, so that the connection cable 4 can be quickly disconnected if necessary. Slide the blower level switch 5 into the position 0 before you plug the connection cable 4 into a mains power socket.
