The action you select will be applied to the filter rule selected in the Rule Number drop-down menu. 8 - 16 CHAPTER 8: ADVANCED CONFIGURATION FEATURES I I I Accept: The packets will be transmitted. Reject: The packet will not be transmitted. And: Logical operator to concatenate different parameters. 10 Select a keyword from the IP Keyword drop-down menu. Select the keyword with the packet attribute you want the filter to match, such as IP source or destination address, TCP port, or UDP port. 11 Select a value (equal, not equal) from the Operator drop-down menu. The filter will use this comparison value to evaluate a packet's source or destination port number. 12 Enter the Source IP Address in the IP Address field. 13 Enter the Source IP Address Mask value in the IP Mask field. 14 Click the Apply button to complete the Firewall Configuration. The Firewall Configuration screen dynamically changes. 15 Click the Finish button to complete the Firewall Configuration. 16 The Complete Configuration for Firewall page is displayed. 17 Click Finish and then click SaveAll on the menubar to permanently save your configuration. Firewall Configuration 8 - 17 Modifying a Custom Packet Filter To modify a Custom Filter, perform the following steps: 1 Select Custom in the Firewall Level drop-down menu. The Firewall Configuration page changes dynamically as shown in the following illustration. 2 Select Modify from the Edit Mode drop-down menu. 3 Select the name of the filter you want to modify in the Filter Name drop-down menu. 4 Select the appropriate category (Filter on Input, Filter on Output) from the Filter Assignment drop-down menu. 5 Make your modifications to the appropriate fields. You may need to click Apply to access all of the fields of the Firewall Configuration page. 6 Click Finish when you have made all of your modifications. 7 The Complete Configuration for Firewall page is displayed.
